John L. Stanizzi

John L. Stanizzi is the author of Ecstasy Among Ghosts, Sleepwalking, Dance Against the Wall (Antrim House Books), and After the Bell (Big Table Publishing). His poems have appeared in the New York Quarterly, Tar River Poetry, Rattle, Passages North, Freshwater, Spoon River Quarterly, Poet Lore, Connecticut River Review, and many other publications. In 1998 Stanizzi was named New England Poet of the Year by the New England Association of Teachers of English. He has read at many venues throughout Connecticut, and he teaches English in an adjunct capacity at Manchester Community College. Stanizzi lives with his wife, Carol, in Coventry, Connecticut.
