Witches drink on HIGH beam coffee that foams bone-dry
squirming when sugar is added.Lips leave a trail of footprints.
Witches coven. Sit close. Make choking sounds sipping. They care. They wear heels. They are more beautiful when their teeth are all in. See their flesh is fertilized. Pretty as an anatomy lesson.
I hear, their mutterings are unmemorable but able to blind a rubbernecking bystander.
Which is don’t ask questions,like the delphinium,tall and pretty and dying. [End Page 97]
Which is go psychotic recalling a weekend,chortle and guffaw, yammering onlike dry twigs being rubbed together.
Witches drink coffee until the place burns down Which is when refills are served.which is when the brew evaporates.
