Contributors William H.Bergmann received his Ph.D. from the University ofCincinnati and is now an assistant professor ofhistory at Northern Michigan University. In 2005, his dissertation won the Allan Nevins Prize from the Economic History Association. Robert B. Symon earned a B .A. in journalism from E[ he University ofTexas at Austin, a B.S. in meteorology from The Florida State University, · and an M.A. in history from the University of Louisville. For the past decade, he has served as a meteorologist at WLKYTV in Louisville. Ky W.White earned his BS from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
