I hole up in earsplitting. In shoehorned foreground,
hog the ripples for myself. I hang onto my every word.
Even in the pauses, lying. Crawl clean-shaven into bed.
The build-up howls with pleasure. The fronds of a lens flare are

Curbside is playing a bit part in something that now warmly
slips my mind. Double-clicked, exposed tendrils—spinning of silks.
Skin-like, I leaf through cools. Get stageblood really in the zone.
Egg up, I say to the shells on my plate, even ascreen can churn
out wholeness. Anyone’s my shoo-in. Anyone can leave, the door’s lung-open. [End Page 77]
