Abstract

In this memoir, James Cortada discusses his time as an IBM salesman working in the Data Processing Division from 1974 to 1981. This was a golden age for account management and mainframe sales, all during the period of IBM’s antitrust suit. Cortada provides insight into the operations and culture of IBM’s sales history.
