Matthew Chrulew is Research Fellow in the Centre for Culture and Technology at Curtin University, Perth, Australia. His essays have appeared in New Formations, Foucault Studies, Humanimalia, Australian Humanities Review and The Bible and Critical Theory. With Jeffrey Bussolini and Brett Buchanan, he is editing a forthcoming issue of Angelaki on the work of Dominique Lestel.
Chris Danta is Senior Lecturer in English in the School of the Arts and Media at The University of New South Wales, Sydney. He is the author of Literature Suspends Death: Sacrifice and Storytelling in Kierkegaard, Kafka and Blanchot and the co-editor of Strong Opinions: J. M. Coetzee and the Authority of Contemporary Fiction and Mindful Aesthetics: Literature and the Science of Mind. He has published essays in New Literary History, Textual Practice, Modernism/modernity, Angelaki, SubStance and Literature & Theology.

Peggy Kamuf is Marion Frances Chevalier Professor of French and of Comparative Literature at the University of Southern California. Among her recent books are Book of Addresses and To Follow: The Wake of Jacques Derrida. She has translated many works by Derrida, most recently The Death Penalty, Volume I and since 2008 has been director of the Derrida Seminars Translation Project.
Vicki Kirby is Professor of Sociology and Anthropology in the School of Social Sciences, The University of New South Wales, Sydney. Her most recent book is Quantum Anthropologies: Life at Large (Duke 2011), and she is editing a collection, Sociology Under the Skin: what if culture was really nature all along? in the New Materialism Series with Edinburgh University Press. She was Erasmus Mundus Professor at Utrecht University in 2013, and in 2015 she will be Visiting Professor at the Winter School, Institute of Advanced Study in the Humanities and Social Sciences in Bern, Switzerland. Patrick Llored is Professor of Philosophy and researcher at l’Institut de recherches philosophiques de Lyon (IRPHIL), Université Jean Moulin Lyon III, France. In 2013 he published the first French-language introduction to Derrida’s animal philosophy: Jacques Derrida. Politique et éthique de l’animalité (Sils Maria), and in 2014 will publish two other books on the same subject: Zoophilosophie politique. De la démocratie animale chez Derrida (Sils Maria) and J. Derrida. Une philosophie végétarienne dans l’âme (Autrement).
Michael Naas is Professor of Philosophy at DePaul University. He works in the areas of Ancient Greek Philosophy and Contemporary French Philosophy. His most recent books include Miracle and Machine: Jacques Derrida and the Two Sources of Religion, Science, and the Media and The End of the World and Other Teachable Moments: Jacques Derrida’s Final Seminar, both with Fordham University Press.
Paul Patton is Scientia Professor of Philosophy at The University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. He is the author of Deleuze and the Political (Routledge, 2000) and Deleuzian Concepts: Philosophy, Colonization, Politics (Stanford, 2010). He has translated work by Deleuze, Derrida, Foucault and other French thinkers, and has published widely on political philosophical aspects of their work.
Christopher Peterson is Senior Lecturer in the School of Humanities and Communication Arts at the University of Western Sydney. He is the author of Kindred Specters (Minnesota 2007) and Bestial Traces (Fordham 2013).
James Phillips is Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at The University of New South Wales, Australia. His research focuses on the interrelations between political philosophy and literature, and he is the author of Heidegger’s Volk: Between National Socialism and Poetry (Stanford UP, 2005) and The Equivocation of Reason: Kleist Reading Kant (Stanford UP, 2007) as well as multiple journal articles.
Dinesh Joseph Wadiwel teaches human rights and socio-legal studies at the University of Sydney. His research interests include sovereignty and the nature of rights, violence, race and critical animal studies. His book The War Against Animals is forthcoming in 2014 with Rodopi Press.
