With this issue, Sabine and Melody say farewell from Utah.

We feel fortunate to end our tenure with such a coherent collection of excellent essays, focused in diverse ways on various border crossings. And we are pleased to open with an essay by our next editor, Tom Lynch. Starting with the spring issue, WAL will be printed at the University of Nebraska Press, under Tom’s leadership.

We would like to thank our trio of book review editors over the years, Evelyn Funda, Jennifer Sinor, and Paul Crumbley, as well as our former department head, Jeff Smitten, for his support of Western American Literature.

Though no longer on the editorial wagon, we are looking forward to supporting the WLA in other roles. See you all in Victoria! [End Page 369]
