In Issue 2, the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies is honored to include articles collected from two separate symposia. The first symposium focused on transnational societal constitutionalism and was led by Gunther Teubner and Anna Beckers. It was held on May 17-19, 2012, at the Collegio Carlo Alberto in Moncalieri, Turin, Italy, where The Hague Institute of International Law, the International University College Torino, and the College Carlo Alberto, Torino hosted the conference. The second symposium was led by Carole Silver, Steven A. Boutcher, and Gabriele Plickert, and focused on comparative perspectives on gender and lawyering.

Issue 2 also includes four articles from student authors on varying topics.

The Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies is grateful to all the authors whose work is published in Issue 2 for their scholarly contributions and their on-going commitment to the study of globalization and its relevance to law throughout the world. [End Page 521]
