Professor Igusa’s long affiliation with the American Journal of Mathematics began as an associate editor in 1964, and continued as Editor-in-Chief from 1978 to 1993, after which he remained an active and valued member of the Journal’s advisory board for an additional twelve years. His forty-one-year editorial tenure remains one of the longest in the history of the AJM. ...
