Introduction

Four papers included in this issue were presented in Chicago at group meetings of the North American Nietzsche Society (NANS) held in conjunction with the Central Division Meeting of the American Philosophical Association. At a session chaired by Professor Robert Pippin on February 18, 2010, William Beals and Ian Dunkle presented papers on Moral Psychology and Nietzsche’s Critique of Morality; and at a session chaired by NANS President, Professor Richard Schacht, Mark Alfano and Joshua Andresen presented papers on the Consequences of Nietzsche’s Naturalism (February 20, 2010). These four essays were selected by the NANS program committee by blind review, from among submissions to the society’s annual call for papers.
