Miranda Hoegberg is a senior majoring in English and French. She would like to thank the Victorian Studies staff for giving her an interesting, challenging job to come to so she could (temporarily) forget that she also worked at Subway all summer. Miranda knows that all the reader’s reports she read will help improve her senior honors thesis on the works of Charlotte Brontë, and that the conversations about Arrested Development will help improve her life in general. She loved picking through the free books pile and finding books about food in nineteenth-century Britain, though she can’t read anything anymore without also reading the punctuation marks.
