ANNOUNCEMENT FOURTH ANNUAL MEETING OF THE WESTERN LITERATURE ASSOCIATION The 1969 meeting of WLA has been set for Thursday, October 9 in Provo, Utah, in conjunction with the Rocky Mountain Modern Language Association, which meets through Friday and Saturday, October 10-11. WALTER VAN TILBURG CLARK is to be guest of honor and luncheon speaker. We shall carry further details of the program and the name of the headquarters motel in the May issue, when this information is available. If you are interested in presenting a paper at the meeting on any aspect of the literature of the North American West, you should correspond with the President of the Association, who is responsible for determining the program.
