Abstract

This review examines Janet Wilson, Gerri Kimber, and Susan Reid’s new collection of essays about Katherine Mansfield’s relationship to literary modernism. This collection ambitiously attempts to establish new transnational and interdisciplinary contexts for Mansfield scholarship, while continuing to analyze traditional Mansfield themes such as class, gender, selfhood, and her relationship with Virginia Woolf. Nevertheless, subtle connections among the essays suggest exciting new avenues for future Mansfield scholarship.
