Abstract

Bruce Barton considers the nature(s) of movement in physical dramaturgies. Reflecting on a range of examples from his professional practice in Toronto and Vancouver, he proposes an "inter/actual" approach to movement dramaturgy, one that focuses on what a per-formance is doing, rather than what it is trying to be.
