Ryan Burruss is a writer and editor working out of Washington, dc. He currently resides in Maryland with his wife and son.

Bryan Castille received his MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and fellowships from the University of Iowa, the New York State Writers’ Institute, Lambda Literary, and the Upernavik Artists’ Refugium in Greenland. He has served as an editor for the Iowa Review, Natural Bridge, and River Styx. His work has previously appeared in New South. He lives in St. Louis, Missouri.

Cróna Gallagher is based in Co. Leitrim, Ireland. Her poems and stories have been featured most recently in The Chattahoochee Review (the Irish issue), Crannóg, The Dublin Quarterly, Drunken Boat, and elsewhere, and her piece “Ballypuca” was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She is the recipient of a literary bursary from the Arts Council of Ireland. Her collection of poetry is The Doves of the Forest Night (Lapwing P).

Craig Loomis is currently an associate professor of English at the American University of Kuwait in Kuwait City. His short fiction has been published in the Iowa Review, Colorado Review, Prague Revue, and elsewhere. His short story collection is titled The Salmiya Collection: Stories of the Life and Times of Modern Day Kuwait (Syracuse UP).

Julianne Lynch’s fiction has appeared in Sou’wester, Crab Creek Review, New Madrid, and elsewhere. She recently was the Fulbright Junior Lecturer of American Studies at Universität Potsdam, Germany. She currently lives in Denver, Colorado, with her husband and son.

Lee Martin has published three memoirs, most recently Such a Life. He is also the author of four novels, including Break the Skin and The Bright Forever, the [End Page 171] latter a finalist for the 2006 Pulitzer Prize in Fiction. He teaches in the mfa program at Ohio State University.

Pilar Quintana is the author of three novels and a short-story collection, Caperucita se come al lobo (Little Red Riding Hood Eats the Wolf). She was selected as one of the thirty-nine most important Latin American writers under the age of thirty-nine by the Hay Festival and has been a writer-in-residence at the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa. Her short stories have appeared in magazines and anthologies from Latin America, Spain, Germany, Italy, France, and the Philippines.

Sarah Valentine is a poet, writer, and translator. Her work has appeared in literary and peer-reviewed journals such as Callaloo, Zoland, and Poetics: An Empirical Journal of Culture. She received a Lannan Writers Residency in Marfa, Texas, and is the author of a book of Russian poetry translations, Into the Snow: Selected Poems of Gennady Aygi (Wave Books). “The Divine Auditor” is an excerpt from her memoir-in-progress, Miss America.

Carroll Beauvais is a 2012 “Discovery”/Boston Review Poetry Prize semifinalist. Her work has appeared in the Collagist, Bateau, and elsewhere.

Craig Beaven’s poems appear or are forthcoming in Third Coast, Carolina Quarterly, Cutbank, Southern Humanities Review, and other journals. His work was recently nominated for a Pushcart Prize.

Jody Bolz is the author of A Lesson in Narrative Time (Gihon Books) and the forthcoming novella-in-verse Shadow Play (Turning Point). Her poems have appeared widely in journals such as the American Scholar, North American Review, Ploughshares, and Poetry East as well as in literary anthologies. Since 2002 she has edited Poet Lore, founded in 1889.

T. Alan Broughton is a recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and nea Award. He has published novels, poems, stories, and essays. He lives in Burlington, Vermont, and is a professor of English at the University of Vermont.

Tom Chandler is Poet Laureate of Rhode Island Emeritus. He has been named Phi Beta Kappa Poet at Brown University and was a featured poet at the Library of Congress and Robert Frost Homestead.
