This article is a response to the questions posed to presenters at the symposium "Sacred Healing and Wholeness in Africa and the Americas." The author discusses how sacred space can be created within the Lucumi/ Ifa religious tradition in order to promote individual and communal healing. She also explores how practitioners may experience sacred space through prayer, music, and meditation.
