Abstract

The European Union is currently facing a crisis which requires that important institutional changes are made in order to allow for more integration among its different nations. Which road should the new stage of integration follow? Against those who believe that what is needed is the creation of a supranational Europe, I argue in favor of a process of integration that would establish an agonistic Europe. With this aim in mind, I discuss several proposals that I see as providing crucial insights for the elaboration and implementation of such a project.
