Kimmy Caplan teaches American Jewish History and Modern Jewish Religious History at Bar Ilan University and at the Institute for Contemporary Jewry of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

David Lyon Hurwitz had a career in the business world, then turned to Jewish history and biography, with recent articles in Judaism and Midstream. His father, Henry Hurwitz (1886–1961), headed the Menorah movement and edited The Menorah Journal.

Linda J. Borish is an Associate Professor of History at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is the author of several publications in American women’s history, sport and health history, and serves as a book review editor for the Journal of Sport History.
