Congratulations to Betty Luther Hillman whose article “‘The most profoundly revolutionary act a homosexual can engage in’: Drag and the Politics of Gender Presentation in the San Francisco Gay Liberation Movement, 1964–1972,” published in the January 2011 issue of the Journal of the History of Sexuality (volume 20, number 1), has been awarded the Berkshire Conference Article Prize for the best article in the fields of the history of women, gender, and/or sexuality in 2011 by a woman who is normally resident in North America.
