Call for Panel Proposals for MLA As an Allied organization, the RMMLA is allowed sessions at the MLA convention. We are offering two sessions in 1990; see the Review, volume 44, number 3 (Fall 1990), page 135. In order to select sessions for the 1991 MLA convention, the Executive Board ofthe RMMLA decided at its meeting of October 11, 1990, to solicit proposals from RMMLA members. A committee designated by the Board will recommend to the MLA one panel in English and one in Foreign Language. Proposals not strictly in one of these ares, but appropriate to RMMLA or MLA members' areas ofspecialization, will also be considered. Panel proposals must be received by Charles G. Davis, Executive Director, RMMLA, Department of English, Boise State University, Boise, ID 83725 by February 1, 1991. Proposals should conform to the MLA guidelines for special sessions as described on pages 644-46 ofthe September 1990 issue ofPMLA (Volume 105, number 4). Anyone listed on the program of the MLA-as présider, panelist, or respondent—must be a member of MLA by April 1, 1991.
