EDITOR'S NOTE: Our coverage is of virtually all of the recorded performances of four operas—Benvenuto Cellini, La damnation de Faust, Les Troyens, and Béatrice et Bénédict—currently available on compact discs, as well as a few older versions that are temporarily out of print or not yet available in CD format.
