CONTRIBUTORS Anita M. Hart is Associate Professor of Spanish at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her articles on contemporary Spanish poetry have appeared in Hispanic Journal, Letras Peninsulares , Anales de la Literatura Española Contemporánea, Monographie Review IRevista Monográfica, The Journal of Interdisciplinary Literary Studies, and Hispanófila. William E. Hummel will graduate next year from Arizona State University with a PhD in American Literature. His current research topic is William S. Burroughs, the results of which he will present at the Popular Culture Association's annual conference in April. Constance Merritt is studying for her doctorate in creative writing and North American women's poetry at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Callaloo, Phoebe, American Literary Review, Nebraska Humanities, and Quarterly West. She was this year's winner of the Academy of American Poets Prize at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Judy Nolte Temple is Associate Professor of Women's Studies and English at the University of Arizona. She wrote "A Secret to be Buried": The Diary and Life of Emily Hawley Gillespie, 1858-1888 (under her former surname, Lensink), and her chapters on theoretical aspects of diary scholarship are forthcoming in two scholarly collections. Robert Ziegler is Professor of Humanities at Montana Tech. He has written widely on the fin de siècle, and his articles on Lorrain have appeared in Modern Language Studies, Essays in Literature, Nineteenth-Century French Studies, Symposium, and Neophilologus. 118 ...
