Stacey Jean Klein is a visiting lecturer at Georgia State University. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is writing a study of the life and work of Margaret Junkin Preston.
Michael A. Ross is associate professor of history at Loyola University New Orleans. He is the author of Justice of Shattered Dreams: Samuel Freeman Miller and the Supreme Court during the Civil War Era (2003).
Patrick Kelly is the author of Creating a National Home: Building the Veterans’ Welfare State, 1860-1900 (1997). He teaches at the University of Texas at San Antonio and is working on a project that examines the network of trade between the Confederate Trans-Mississippi and Mexico during the American Civil War.
