CONVENTION ANNOUNCEMENTS Registration: Registration, information, meeting rooms, and exhibits are located in the convention area of the Aladdin Hotel. Banquet: Due to the variety of dinner shows offered by hotels in the city of Las Vegas, the Executive Board of RMMLA decided to suspend its annual Banquet this year. Instead, the Reception has been scheduled for two hours, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Everyone is invited to attend this social event. Career Information Service: RMMLA is continuing its job information service for a third year. Please consult page 162 of this program for further details regarding the Career Information Center. Programs on employment opportunities in English and Foreign Languages, sponsored by the Center, are scheduled for Friday, October 21, at 9:00 a.m. Smoking Restrictions: Presiding officers are urged to designate smoking and non-smoking areas in meeting rooms before the program begins. Meeting in 1978: The Hyatt-Regency Hotel in Phoenix will be the site of the 1978 RMMLA convention. Arizona State University is the host institution.
