127 Notices We hope to make this section of the journal a regular service feature. For future issues we invite scholars to submit brief accounts (no longer than a thousand words) of current work in progress, either individually or in groups. Candidates for the Ph.D. who are well along on a dissertation are likewise urged to send a description (no longer than 350 words) of their doctoral project. All these reports will be printed without charge, but will be subject to possible editorial revision. Contributors will, however, have an opportunity to give final approval or refusal to such changes as are deemed necessary by the editors. ...
