Arthur E. Crist Jr. is technical director and clinical microbiologist at York Hospital. He is a graduate of Elizabethtown College (B.S. 1974) and University of Maryland School of Medicine (Ph.D. 1980). He has numerous papers, posters and presentations on microbiology to his credit.

James P. Myers Jr. is Graeff professor of English at Gettysburg College, where he teaches Shakespeare and courses in Irish literature. His current research involves wonder and the sublime in eighteenth-century American geographic and travel literature, specifically, Pehr Kalm, Thomas Pownall, and Thomas Jefferson; Pennsylvania Loyalists—their activities and their treatment by the new state government; and Hector St. John de Crèvecoeur: Loyalist? Patriot? Double Agent? His most recent publication, The Ordeal of Thomas Barton: Anglican Missionary in the Pennsylvania Backcountry, 1755–1780, was published by Lehigh University Press in 2010.

Suzanne M. Shultz is director of Library Services at the Philip A. Hoover, M.D. Library, Wellspan Health at York Hospital. She is a graduate of Shippensburg University (B.S. 1969) and Pennsylvania State University (M.A. 1993). She has contributed papers to the history of medicine literature on a wide range of topics.
