Daniella Doron is currently the Schusterman Postdoctoral Fellow in History and Jewish Studies at Colgate University from 2010-1012. Previously, she was the Ray D. Wolfe Postdoctoral Fellow in Jewish Studies at the University of Toronto. She received her PhD from New York University in the departments of History and Hebrew and Judaic Studies in 2009, where she wrote a dissertation entitled "In the Best Interest of the Child: Family, Youth, and Identity Among Postwar French Jews, 1944-1954."

Benjamin M. Jacobs is Assistant Director of the Program in Education and Jewish Studies and Assistant Professor of Social Studies Education in the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University. His research interests include social education, Jewish education, history of education, curriculum studies, teacher education, and education of ethnic groups. Jacobs' publications have appeared in the Theory and Research in Social Education, Journal of Jewish Education, and Religious Education. He recently contributed the chapter on teaching Jewish history for The International Handbook on Jewish Education (Springer, 2011).

Christina Morina is lecturer at the University of Jena, Germany, and currently research fellow at the International Institute for Social History in Amsterdam. She studied modern history, political science, and journalism in Leipzig, Athens, OH, and College Park, MD. Her dissertation on the "Legacies of Stalingrad. Remembering the Eastern Front in Germany since 1945" will be published by Cambridge University Press in 2011. Morina is also co-editor of a forthcoming book on the divided history of the German historical sciences since 1945. Since 2009, she is co-manager of the International Scholars' Network on the "History of Societies and Socialisms" whose first meeting she helped organize in November 2010 in Amsterdam. [End Page i]
