THE CONTRIBUTORS Janet dean has taught American literature at Columbia University and at the State University of New York, Stony Brook. She is currently completing a manuscript on gender and the frontier in the American imagination. Michael BOUGHN is the audior of H.D.: A Bibliography, 1905-1993 (University Press of Virginia, 1993), and three books of poems: Three Peculiar Odes, A little post-apocalyptic suite for RC with thanLĀ·for the rhino, and Iterations of the Diagonal.
