As a result of production errors, the LARR volume 45 special issue did not indicate that Nancy Postero of the University of California, San Diego, was the guest editor. An introduction to the special issue, by Nancy Postero and Philip Oxhorn, can be found in LASA Forum 42, no. 1 (Winter 2011), and at LARR's online archives (http://lasa.international.pitt.edu/eng/larr/index.asp).

As a result of the author's oversight, in the article "Our Indians in Our America," by Tracy Devine Guzmán, the end of the fi rst sentence in footnote 44 is ambiguous. It should have read "state of Pará."
