The Panther that Bought Some Jordans

Louis T. Delk

[Political Children's Theater in the Age of Globalization]

Fourth Grade Student Lucy Craft Laney Elementary School

Once there was a musty, idle panther who always wore a striped shirt and a blue jacket around his house.

One day he went to the Mall of America and went shopping. All of the grown people were looking "crazy" at the black panther. The panther didn't have any shoes on his feet. So he went into Foot Locker and looked for a pair of shoes. The panther saw some black "Jordans." He liked them so he put them on. After the panther purchased his shoes, all of the people started to like him.

The panther went home happy because he had new shoes to match his outfit. The shoes also made him play basketball very, very well.

The End.
