REVIEW OF XVI ANNUAL MEETING The sixteenth annual meeting of the Southeastern Division of the Association of American Geographers was held on November 20 and 21 on the campus of the University of South Carolina in Columbia. The ninety three registrants represented all eight of the states which make up the division plus Virginia, Illinois and the District of Columbia. After an opening address by Dr. Robert L. Sumwalt, President of the University of South Carolina, twenty-nine papers were presented in eight sessions. The annual business meeting followed the last of these sessions and its minutes have been published in Vol. XIII of the Memorandum Folio. Open House in the Kendall Memorial Room which houses the Caroliniana Library maps was of particular interest. A banquet on Tuesday evening with an excellent address by Dr. Arch C.
