Ha toxiuíta A Journal of Medieval Spanish Language, Literature 8c Cultural Studies INTERNATIONAL BOOKAWARD The La coránica International Book Award is an annual prize for the best monograph published on medieval Iberian language, literature and cultural studies. The Award is announced each May at die International Congress of Medieval Studies held at Western Michigan University, and a special session is convoked during die following year's Congress to honor die recipient and advance the diemes of his or her research, die honorée serving as principal respondent. A cash jirize, an engraved pewter canister and a certificate accompany the Award. Anthologies of studies by multiple authors, collections of previously published articles, teaching tools, popularizations of medieval life, data bases, non-critical editions and creative works of fiction or verse are not eligible for this award. Submission of entries can be made by authors, dieir publishers, their academic institutions, or dieir colleagues by sending three copies of die book to die Editor of Lacor ánica by October 1 each year for a book bearing an imprint from the previous year (e.g., submissions by October 1, 2008 for books published in 2007).
