Abstract
'The Best' — either 'the Best Knight in the World' or 'the Truest Lady' — is at times decided by bizarre tests with scurrilous elements. The examples here treated feature nakedness of victims, of agents provocateurs, and also of the Best Knights' and of 'theTruest Ladies' themselves.
