Roy Joseph is Associate Professor of Paediatrics and Senior Consultant in Neonatology in the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, the National University Health System, Singapore. He chairs the Clinical Bioethics Committee of the National University Hospital and the National Medical Ethics Committee and also serves on Transplant Ethics Committees. His research interests in ethics are in end of life issues and organ transplantation from living unrelated donors.
Hans-Martin Sass is Founder and Member of the Center for Medical Ethics, Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany, and Senior Research Scholar at the Kennedy Institute of Ethics, Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA, as well as Honorary Professor in the Center for Bioethics, Peking Union Medical College, Beijing, China.
Michael Cheng-Tek Tai is Professor at Chungshan Medical University, Taichung, Taiwan and Editor of the Formosan Journal of Medical Humanities. Dr Tai has written widely on the Confucian perspective of clinical ethics, among other bioethical topics.
Heather Widdows is Professor of Global Ethics in the Department of Philosophy, University of Birmingham, UK and Editor of the Journal of Global Ethics. Dr Widdows' is a member of UK Biobank Ethics and Governance Council.
Zhai Xiaomei is Director and Professor at the Center for Bioethics at Peking Union Medical College and Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Beijing, China. Dr Zhai was also an Edmund D. Pellegrino Fellow at Georgetown University Center for Clinical Ethics, USA from 2008–2009. [End Page 48]
