Stephen J. Ceccoli is an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Studies at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. He is currently the J. S. Seidman Research Fellow at Rhodes.

Craig A. Kaplowitz received his Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University and is Assistant Professor of History at Judson College in Elgin, Illinois. He is currently completing a book that examines the relationship between ethnic identity and the development of civil rights policy for Mexican Americans.

Thomas A. Krainz is an assistant professor of History at Framingham State College in Massachusetts. He recently received his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado. His forthcoming manuscript, The Delivery of Aid: Implementing America’s Progressive-Era Welfare State in the American West, will be published by the University of New Mexico Press.
