Abstract
The "Gurigura" library at Keimei Elementary School was recognized with the 39th School Library Award by the National School Library Association of Japan in 2009 for its innovative programs and renovations profiled briefly here. This article is adapted from the first English language supplement, HONTSUBA, to the new Japanese edition of Bookbird which appeared in March 2010 and is used with permission of the publisher, Mightybook.
