Bernice Elger
Bernice Elger is Professor for research and teaching of ethics, humanitarian medicine and humanitarian law at the University of Geneva Medical School (University Centre for Legal Medicine of West Switzerland). After completing her university education at Essen, Heidelberg, Bochum, Bethel (Germany), Baylor College of Medicine and Rice University (Houston, Texas) where she studied medical ethics, she received her medical diploma at Heidelberg, Germany and also completed a six-year university degree course in Protestant Theology at Göttingen, Germany.
