CONTRIBUTORS NOTES George Collazo is a seaman who lives in Seattle. John Deming lived in Asia 15 years, including 4 years in Vietnam. Kevin Desinger is a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop and lives in the Pacific Northwest. Edward Falco has published fiction in Georgia Review, Virginia Quarterly, etc., and has a book of prose poems, Concert in the Park of Culture. Kent Nelson has fiction in the 1986 Best American Short Stories. His novel is Cold Wind River. Steve Yarbrough has fiction forthcoming from Crazyhorse, Kansas Quarterly, and Virginia Quarterly. Carrie Young's first book, Green Broke, by Dodd, Mead, received the Ohioana Library Association's Florence Roberts Head Memorial Award in 1982. Tom Andrews has recent poems in Field, Antioch Review, and elsewhere. Ralph Angel is the author of Anxious Latitudes, recently published by Wesleyan University Press. David Bottoms' new book, Under the Vulture Tree, will be published this spring by William Morrow. Edward Byrne is the author of Along the Dark Shore. Patricia Clark has recent poems in The Neu> Criterion, Seattle Rei'ieiv, and Poetry Miscellany. Robert Cording has recent poems in the Neio Yorker, Poetry, Seieanee Review, etc. James Frazee is a journalist working for six newspapers in Washington and California. Maura High is from Wales and is Managing Editor of the Neio England Review. Denis Johnson is currently living as a freelance writer in Mendocino County, California. Mark Jarman's latest book is Far and Aivay. He co-edits The Reaper and Story Line Press. Walter McDonald's book, The Flying Dutchman, was selected for the University of Cincinnati's 1986 George Elliston Poetry Prize. James McMichael's most recent book is Four Good Things.
