Melissa Mueller is Assistant Professor of Classics at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Fellow of the Center for Hellenic Studies in Washington, D.C. (2009-10). She has written articles on Homer and Euripides.

Ronald Newbold is a Visiting Research Fellow in Classics at the University of Adelaide. He retired as Senior Lecturer in 2008. Research and publishing activity in his last years of tenured employment involved mainly Nonnus, Ammianus, and Gregory of Tours. Later this year, a collection of essays in his honor, Studies in Emotion and Power in the Late Roman World, will be published.

Mehran A. Nickbakht is a Lecturer in Ancient History at Heinrich-Heine Universität Düsseldorf and Justus-Liebig Universität Giessen. His publications include articles on Velleius Paterculus, Tacitus, Vergil, and Ovid.

Matthew Sharpe teaches political philosophy and psychoanalytic studies at Deakin University, Australia, and has authored books on Slavoj Zizek, psychoanalysis, and Australian politics.
