In order to channel the donations for the artists of the Monnin Gallery, who were all affected by the earthquake on 12 January 2010, and get the aid to them as quickly as possible, we have temporarily set up a hurricane relief fund via our foundation, FONDAM. In the Port-Salut community, which was thankfully spared from this national catastrophe, FONDAM continues with its regular programs of reforestation and civic education. Pascale Monnin was born in Port-au-Prince in 1974. A multidimensional artist, she draws, paints, etches, and sculpts, and also works with installations. Her art has been exhibited in numerous places around the world, including Berlin, Oslo, Port-au-Prince, New York, Washington DC, and Nouméa.
