Alexis Celeste Bunten is an assistant professor in anthropology at Humboldt State University currently specializing in Indigenous economic development through tourism.

Julie L. Reed is a PhD candidate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a citizen of the Cherokee Nation.

Cynthia Fowler, PhD, is an associate professor of art at Emmanuel College in Boston. She has published several articles on American Indian women artists since participating in a 2003 National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship program on American Indian art and literature under the direction of artist and critic Gail Tremblay.

James I. Schaap, PhD, has been teaching at the university level for over thirty years. Currently, he is an adjunct professor at the College of Business Administration, Managerial Sciences Department, University of Nevada, Reno, and teaches online MBA courses at Norwich University, Northfield, Vermont, the oldest private military college in the country. His instructional expertise is in the areas of organizational leadership effectiveness and change as well as strategic and international management. His research and publishing focus on the topics of leadership behavior and strategic management and, more specifically, strategy implementation and gender differences. He has also published an article, from a leadership perspective, about the "glass ceiling." Most recently, Dr. Schaap has published a paper about the current state of the Peter Principle, a universal phenomenon that dates back to 1969. [End Page 407]
