Abstract

Programs and services for hearing-impaired children and youth who also have severe visual problems have been increasing rapidly in recent years. Because many of these children are being identified at or placed in school programs for the hearing impaired, teachers need to become familiar with the media and equipment developed or identified for use with the visually impaired and deaf-blind.
