Abstract
A project designed to study the feasibility of utilizing the eight components of the NTID Communication Performance Profile for evaluating the receptive and expressive communication skills of deaf secondary-level students was conducted on 420 students at two residential schools for the deaf. The resulting data verified the usefulness of the entire test battery for designing Communication Individual Education Programs (IEP's) for deaf students at the secondary level.
