Linda Bartholomai is a student in the dramaturgy and dramatic criticism program at the Yale School of Drama.

Rustom Bharucha is an independent writer, director, and dramaturg based in Calcutta. His most recent book is The Politics of Cultural Practice: Thinking Through Theatre in an Age of Globalization (Wesleyan University Press, 2000). Active in intercultural theater production and policy-making, he is a member of the International Advisory Council of the Prince Claus Fund for Culture and Development, the Netherlands.

Kate Bredeson is a student in the DFA program in dramaturgy and dramatic criticism at the Yale School of Drama, and a teaching fellow at Yale College.

Liz Diamond is resident director and interim chair of the directing program at Yale School of Drama, where she has taught since 1992. Significant collaborations include her work with Suzan-Lori Parks, for whom Diamond staged six major productions in New York and at Yale Rep; the late Paul Schmidt, whose translations Diamond staged at Yale Rep and ART in Cambridge; and Sunil Kuruvilla, for whom Diamond staged Riceboy at Yale Rep last year and whose Fighting Words she will stage at YRT in the fall of 2002.

Daniel Gerould is the Lucille Lortel Distinguished Professor of Theatre and Comparative Literature at the City University of New York. He is the editor of Slavic and East European Performance and of the Polish and Eastern European Theatre Archives. He is a translator of Witkiewicz’s plays, and his own books include Theatre/Theory/Theatre, Guillotine, and The Witkiewicz Reader.

Rinne Groff is a playwright and performer living in New York City. She is a founding member of Elevator Repair Service Theater Company and an associate of Target Margin Theater. Currently, she is working on a play about the invention of television.

Adrien-Alice Hansel is a student in the dramaturgy and dramatic criticism program at the Yale School of Drama.

Amy S.Holzapfel is a visiting assistant professor of theater at Dartmouth College and a student in the DFA program in dramaturgy and dramatic criticism at the Yale School of Drama.

Dragan Klaić received his DFA from the Yale School of Drama in 1977. He is professor of theater studies at the University of Amsterdam and a contributing editor of Theater. He was director of Theater Instituut Nederland 1992–2001 and serves now as president of the European Forum of Arts and Heritage, a voicing organization in Brussels. He contributes to several culture and performing arts magazines such as TransEuropéennes (Paris), Theatermaker (Amsterdam), ballet/tanz international (Berlin), and Dance Europe (London).

Jadwiga Kosicka is the author of A Life of Solitude, a biographical study of Stanisława Przybyszewska. She is the translator of Jan Kott’s autobiography Still Alive and many of his essays, as well as of the Polish playwrights Hanna Krall (To Steal a March on God) and Felicja Kruszewska (A Dream).

Charles Marowitz is a director, playwright, and critic. His latest book is Roar of the Canon: Kott and Marowitz on Shakespeare (Applause, 2002).

Charles Mcnulty is the head of Brooklyn College’s graduate dramaturgy program. He is a theater critic for the Village Voice and a contributing editor of Theater.

Alice Rebecca Moore, a student in the dramaturgy and dramatic criticism program at the Yale School of Drama, spent one year as a Fulbright Scholar in Germany.

Gordon Rogoff’s most recent book, Vanishing Acts: Theater since the Sixties, was published in 2000 by Yale University Press. He is a professor of dramaturgy and dramatic criticism at Yale School of Drama.
