James Diedrick is Howard L. McGregor Professor of the Humanities at Albion College. A new edition of his Understanding Martin Amis (1995) is forthcoming in 2003 and he has published articles on Charlotte Brontë, Charles Dickens, George Eliot, John Ruskin, Ring Lardner, and Upton Sinclair.

Paul Ellis is completing a Ph.D. in forgery and Victorian fiction at University College London.

Marylu Hill is Assistant Professor in the Core Humanities Program at Villanova University.

Hilda Hollis teaches at Queen's University at Kingston, Ontario, and has previously published in Victorian Poetry on Hopkins. Her work has also appeared, or is forthcoming, in ELH, Papers on Language and Literature, Nineteenth-Century Contexts, Nineteenth-Century Prose, ESC, Blake Quarterly, and Milton Studies.

Mark Wormald is Fellow and Director of Studies in English at Pembroke College, University of Cambridge.
