Two New Foreign Correspondents; We are pleased to announce that two new foreign correspondents will join ELT with volume 26, John Stokes (University of Warwick) and J.B. Bullen (University of Reading). Professor Stokes is preparing a report for 26;2 and Professor Bullen's report will appear in 26;4. 5. Fletcher at ASU; Professor Ian Fletcher has joined the English Department at ASU and will be teaching ELT-related courses, beginning with the fall term 1982. We offer him a warm welcome. 6. Bibliographies Forthcoming; Professor Carl Markgraf (Portland State University) is in the process of completing an annotated secondary bibliography on Jerome K. Jerome, which will appear in volume 26 of ELT. He is currently working on similar bibliographies on "Vernon Lee and J.A. Symonds. The Symonds bibliography will update the one that appeared in 18:2 (1975), 79-138. Carol Stern (Northwestern University School of Speech) will soon complete an update to her Symons bibliography which appeared in 17:2 (1974), 77-133· William Baker (West Midlands College) is working on a Leonard Merrick bibliography, which will update the one that appeared in 21i2 (1978), 79-IO9. Werner Bies (University of Trier) continues his work on a Rupert Brooke bibliography , ELT will continue to publish these useful research tools in issues to come. 7. Midwest Victorian Studies Association (Chicago, 29-30 April 1983); The topic is Victorian Health and Victorian Disease, and the Association welcomes proposals from all perspectives.
