Editor's Note

With the publication of Volume 50 of The Eighteenth Century: Theory and Interpretation, we are delighted to announce that the journal will now be published under the auspices of the University of Pennsylvania Press, a leading publisher of books in early modern studies. Our move to Penn Press signals their expanded commitment to this vital area of scholarship. The Eighteenth Century will now appear quarterly and each issue will be lengthened, developments that speak to the increasingly vibrant field of eighteenth-century studies and our authors' exciting contributions to it.

Addresses for editorial content and book reviews remain the same. Subscriptions are now handled by Penn Press. Our website remains unchanged (http://ecti.english.illinois.edu/) and Penn Press now hosts a page for The Eighteenth Century on their website as well.
