Editors Comment The editorial staff has been gratified by the volume of positive response to the first issue of Theatre Topics. It seems that ATHE and Johns Hopkins have been prophetic in their prediction that this journal will address areas not being addressed in other theatre publications. What is especially gratifying is the warmth and supportive tone of the mail. While we are warmed by your responses , we continue to encourage your reactions, of whatever temperature. In this issue we happily include two "Comments on Process" by Willis and Blom, and one "Response" by Gay Gibson Cima, who come bearing the gifts of their considerable experience in the teaching and making of theatre. This section of the journal is designed specifically to accommodate a dialogue among our readers on topics of interest, which appear in the "Comments" or the "Response " sections. In our first issue we thanked many of the individuals who contributed to the genesis of Theatre Topics. Now we wish to call attention to the funding support from Dean Perry Moore, College of Liberal Arts, and staff support from the Department of Composition in Printing Service and Elisa Holway of Wright State University and to the expert assistance provided by the staff of the College of Humanities and Fine Arts Dean's Office at the University of Northern Iowa: Barbara Davis, Janet Witt, Deborah Olsthoorn, Kathy Leinen, Sarah Curtis, and Becky Alexander.
