This Summer School, the Hardy Society's major occasion between the first Hardy Festival of 1968 and the second, planned for 1978, is intended to gather together Hardy scholars, students and enthusiasts for a week's formal and informal study of aspects of Hardy's prose, poetry and drama, with particular relevance to the standing and significance of Hardy today.
