The articles in this issue originated as papers presented at “Chronicle of Faith: A Conference Celebrating the 200 Year Legacy of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia 1808–2008,” held at Immaculata University. It was a splendid gathering of historians, political scientists and theologians.
